Sponsor a Meal Program
During the pandemic, Hoaglin designed a “Sponsor a Meal” program which provided hot meals for families in need. To assist families facing insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic, Hoaglin Fine Catering partnered with the Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center and the Damien Center to reach those families who have the most need. This program allowed individuals and businesses to purchase a fully prepared, warm meal that included a salad, entrée, side dish, and dessert that served four to six people. The meals were delivered directly to families identified by either center for $45 +tax. As a staple in the community for over 25 years, Hoaglin Fine Catering is committed to giving back to the community through organizations whose values align with their own. They continue to provide work for its employees and provide meals through community give-back programs. Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center consistently serves nearly 5,000 families and individuals through basic needs programs through a weekly food market, monthly fresh produce, and emergency food assistance. Damien Center provides services to more than 25% of all individuals living with HIV in the state of Indiana through a wide variety of programs and in-house services.
