When planning an event we understand that you may have a lot of questions, so we gathered some of our frequently asked questions we get from clients below. We hope this blog can help answer some questions you may have when planning your next event with us!
Are we locked into our menu when we sign our contract?
No, you are not locked into your menu when you sign. Adjustments can be made after you sign your contract with us. You have up until the last couple of weeks before the event to make any changes to the menu, guest count, etc. Often, the menu you selected when signing your contract is not the menu you have the day of the event.
Do we have to pick a package?
No, you certainly don't have to pick a package. Packages are encouraged for those who need better guidance and fewer choices to make a decision. Hoaglin offers several, different menu and bar options to fit your specific event. Take a look at some of the menus we offer.
Can we do a custom menu for our event?
Yes, we love creating custom menus! If you want a certain theme or style we can have our Chef build you a menu for just that. Creativity is our specialty. We can accommodate special dietary needs as well.
Will our sales manager be there on the day of the event?
Yes. Your Sales Manager will make sure your food for your event is executed from start to finish to ensure it will be just how you envisioned it. Along with your Sales Manager, you will have an Event Manager and Service Staff that will be working the day of your event. We recommend getting a day of coordinator for anything unrelated to food and beverage service.
How is staffing determined?
Staffing is calculated depending on the number of guests, style of service, and type of event you will have. Our priority is to make sure your event runs flawlessly. Staff will always be needed except for Level 1-3 drop-offs.
Where can you cater to?
Hoaglin Fine Catering is available to cater to several venues. Click here to view our list of venues. We can also cater to private homes, offices, or other facilities with an open catering policy. If your event is out of Marion County there will be a fuel surcharge.
